About The Artwork
This was inspired by a National Geograhic photo, and after purchasing photos from some Entomologists, I felt inspired to re-imagine these creatures in decorative environments inspired by their morphologies and colours. The insect forms themselves become arabesque like, and the colours are magnificent. It was something I just had to celebrate, and perhaps have people look at in a new way. They are, as collectors call them, Living Jewels.
