About The Artwork

The painting depicts something omnipresent ... The sudden discovery of another matter and another reality that exists everywhere and everywhere - at the macro and micro levels ... or simply that exists nearby ... we are used to seeing the world as domesticated, sweet and sentimental ... philistine, in design ... but we are not used to think what is hidden behind the scenes ... someone does not want to think about it as it seems sinister and dangerous, it is overgrown with many phobias and myths ... we are used to fighting it immediately, chaotically defending ourselves with our hands ... At the same time, the other world is interesting to observe and study, and even divine. Whether we like it or not, everything around is dotted with microbes, secret phenomena. The painting depicts bats as if suddenly appearing out of nowhere, as if at the molecular level ... a symbolic parallel to the acutely burning problem of the covid-19 virus allegedly brought to us by a bat .. Yes, now the world is looking for a vaccine in panic ... but having artificially defeated everytime, something else may appear in return. Man has always been forced to live, lives and will live with it ..

Dear all! :) Probably the basic thing I wanted to note about my approach to creativity is the development of imagination and image that is intentionally not to resort to using photographs or natural installations when painting. Of course it would probably be vice versa good because it develops a sense of color you learn from a clear primary source, optimize your labor costs, and reduce time to achieve the desired result. Yes, I’ve been looking for moves for a long time, I hauled out a bunch of canvases and papers, but I decided that everything I draw would be imagination and that’s all! Exceptions are plein air paintings as exercises, but they do not include the collection of my paintings and I do not write them for sale. I also wanted to say that when I paint a picture even for sale, I don’t think in what style, for which interior it will be needed, and what it is needed for. The painting has an intuitive and emotional meaning ... well, probably there is nothing unique about it ... all artists pursue it. I write mainly with oil paints, less often with acrylic, gouache and watercolor. Although I graduated from the Faculty of Design, and earlier from the Art School, I still consider myself self-taught, especially in terms of oil paints, as they are seriously taught at the art academy, but I have familiar artists - professionals who have repeatedly taught and corrected me. I use the initially acquired skills of understanding the basics of perspective, composition, design and artistic thinking, but in order to be an artist and not a graphic designer, you need expression of technique, color, subjective vision, which allows you to go beyond what is possible for a physical object in terms of its practicality and convenience (if you take the design). In terms of the emotional component, I am an adherent and lover of style and artists who profess the idea of sharp perception of color and form, stylish rigor, clarity, tension of emotions, the presence of objectivity, despite the fact that non-objective art is currently the most popular and advanced. But still, I do not depict a copied or just a landscape, but a plot and mood. I paint pictures on different topics, without focusing narrowly on something specific, but I think that it would be good for any mature artist with many years of experience, the most important thing is to keep your style, but you can’t fake it.
