Summer deck (Original, 36"x36" | 91x91 cm) - Hand painted by Hyunah Kim in February 2021. Acrylic paint, with heavy texture. All the sides of the canvas are painted as extensions of the painting, so it is ready to hang. The artwork has been varnished with Matt Varnish, so it will look very natural without reflections or flashes in the light. Hello. Thank you for visiting my gallery. I always thought art is wonderful and amazing. But not only that, art is simply inherent in me. It is something very natural and genuine to me. Art is like another language, just like Korean or English. Art, this pictorial language, is more expressive and magical than we think because there is no limit to it. I believe art is an universal language that we can all speak. Even though we all come from different backgrounds and ethnicity, there are always people who understand my art as it is. Hopefully my artwork can send you a special and warm message. I'm specialized on Abstract, Contemporary and Modern paintings. Since 2002 when I finished Master’s degree in Fine Arts in Eastern Illinois University, I've been painting for LeftArtBank and Artist Guilds of America for many years and also worked as a freelancer, full-time artist. Therefore, my paintings are hanging on various furniture stores and displayed as a “exclusive” and “best seller”. Based on my distinctive background, I recently started selling my artworks directly by online market. I am very honored that my paintings are being collected across the border around the world. It is part of a real satisfaction of accomplishment as an artist, but I am more honored to share my thoughts and my expressions with others through my paintings. I sometimes get asked about my creative work, and I feel very proud that most of my paintings were created through my voluntary ideas and collections. I do not follow someone's work. Just as I can not imitate their lives, I do not covet their creations. There are objects around me that I can not think of or imagine, and there are a lot of tools in my studio waiting for my hand. I do not think blankly what to do sitting in front of the canvas. I rather do activities that will boost my inspiration at that time. Take a walk, drive, walk to the nearest beach or cliff, and sort out my thoughts. So when my head and my feelings want to tell something, I go back to my studio and pour out what I have in my head and my heart. I use brushes, knives, and my paints to do the things I want to do. I would like to give special thanks to all the amazing customers who love my paintings. - Hyunah Kim
