Sunday Morning Painting

Art, just like many things is subjective. This leaves a rather wide range of things a artist must go through to find out what works for them. Through years of practice and training including conceptual, surrealism and realism work, it was hard for me to find something that clicked. With realism, my thoughts would say; wouldn't you rather just take a photo instead? With concept art, that thought would argue that it has already spelled everything out for the viewer and there's nothing more to discover. Something always felt off until I started painting with emotion and feeling instead. It doesn't need to look real, It doesn't need to have a deep meaning. Everything is there for the right viewer to find meaning in the painting.
