Sunset Painting

My name is Aleksandra Zielińska-Misiun, and I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts named after Władysław Strzemiński in Łódź, in the Department of Textile and Clothing, majoring in fashion design. I graduated with a very good result in 2005. I create abstract and expressive works under the influence of impulse, the need of the moment, and my state of mind. The visions that appear in my mind's eye during a flood of thoughts triggers an irresistible urge to pour them onto canvas. I use various tools, such as rulers, to spread thickly applied oil paint. My paintings are characterized by a pronounced structure. When properly lit, they achieve the effect of light and shadow play. My paintings take the viewer on a journey into the world of imagination. I have been painting since 2015. I skill fully divide my time between work with my husband, children, and home, and my passion for painting. Through it, I am able to express myself. I have presented my works to a wider audience at the Factory of Art in Łódź, at an exhibition accompanying the event called "Week of Cultural Responsibility of Business" (www.tokb.pl). For five years, I have been successfully supporting the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (www.wosp.org.pl), painting a special painting for this occasion, depicting a heart. I participate in the regular Business Home Fair in Warsaw and participated in the Online Available Art Fair. My works, thanks to their originality, uniqueness, and one-of-a-kind nature, enhance the spaces of Polish collectors and interiors in Italy, Canada, and the USA. The recipients of my paintings are people of all ages who are looking for non-literal, unreal, yet not strictly abstract images. Collectors often choose one painting and return for more after purchasing it. I am happy that they want to surround themselves and interact daily with works that came from my hands. And that is beautiful in painting. I have found my original, unique, and unmistakable style, which I would like to share with you and others. When viewed live, they evoke even greater and unique visual and spiritual experiences in viewers. These works carry the message of joy in interacting with art.
