About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by the beautiful Amwell Reserve which is a stunning nature reserve in Ware and you can see all the beautiful wildlife on little islands with their offspring or together in groups. To hear so many beautiful species from swans, ducks and geese to many more is breath taking and the sunset at the reserve is so very .dramatic and stunning. The silver circles symbolise the way the wildlife have their little families and clusters. This piece is unframed and can be hung straight away. I used a dirty pour technique of fluid art for this painting as I very much wanted the strong colours the piece has to work together.

I was born in Cologne Germany but raised in the United States and have lived most of my life in the United Kingdom. I now live in Ware , Hertfordshire with my husband. My inspiration comes from Ware as it is picturesque and incredibly beautiful with Amwell Nature Reserve and the River Lea. My art studio is a home studio. Never did I think I would become an artist but happily this is where I am now. I sell my artwork under the pseudonym @warethewomanwent anonymously. I created this alias on Instagram originally to support and promote local businesses through the pandemic and also to show the beauty of Ware. I now also include my artwork. A defining feature of my paintings is that I sign and date each one on the back under my pseudonym. I have always had a love for art and my artwork is influenced by Claude Monet , Wassily Kandinsky and Jack Vetttriano.
