The Suppressing the White Horseis an oil on canvas painting that depicts a white horse rearing in a crowded place. In the painting, people try to suppress the horse. The man is anxious for his life because his head is surrounded by the horse's hooves. This is a vivid portrayal of man’s struggle to suppress his desires and passions that rear their head in public. Juicy brushwork and loose manner of an artist creates raging element, gay medley of bright colours moving along the circumference of pictorial vision and finally reaching the focal point in form of white horse rearing. Hence we feel that this painting exemplifies that suppression which is the perpetual tendency of man towards his triumph over the unknown power. The Suppressing the white horse painting will be an accent in every interior. Modern viewers see it as a significant example of the artist’s nonconformist style and representational painting technique.

Ekaterina is of Russian origin based both in Tel-Aviv and London. She is a visual artist who specializes in Modern Art. Her practice includes oil, gouache, acrylic and mixed media paintings on canvases and paper besides any other drawing materials. Oil paintings provide an opportunity for her to convey physical sensations throughout visual image and material properties using a wide range of textures. She has been studying fine art since 2019 at Visual Art Center in Tel-Aviv, took numerous workshops with stars of Israel art science, from collages to contemporary art practices. Ekaterina participated in a great number of exhibitions in her short career, among others are Museo di Salerno, London Biennale. She took part in residencies: SpudWORKS in the UK and Transhumanisme in Israel. Ekaterina's exceptional interest lies in the area of portraiture, she paints faces of her close ones and strangers whom she meets in life with the sense of expressionism due to vivid brushworks and impressionisь employing color, along with self-portraits through the lens of the colours, shapes and textures. Inspiration comes from self-questioning and sharpening my intuition coupled with great artists of the past such as Chaim Soutin, Frank Aurbach, Cy Twombly, Nick Devereux. Her paintings are an invitation to the collision between beauty (harmony) and chaos, as well as, integrity and disintegration. Her works are mostly figurative. Ekaterina has created a new series of female portraits that feature intense, unique color and texture, and uses paints to create images of the world. In many of her works, she brings up the subject of violence and inequality against women through rough textures and irregular strokes. She invites spectators to be active and interact visually with tactile sensations, while at the same time visually representing the ugliness of real life. Ekaterina's works reflect the reality of women's position in society. At the same time finding great support at womanhood.
