In this painting, the Alhambra is seen from the famous Albaicin quarter viewpoint. Following a recent trip to Granada, and armed with a series of drawings and photographs taken at the site, Kirsty returned to the art studio to complete the final oil painting, taking inspiration from Sorolla and Hockney.
