"Taking the Bridal Path" Sold Painting

My paintings are full of allusions to ancient fairy tales and myths, but although I have a story to tell, I leave it to the observer to decide how it should unfold. I am interested in exploring the nature of relationships between people and also between people and animals, and how this affects the way they perceive their place in the world. Some of my paintings are autobiographical, while others are inspired by the stories I read as a child in the battered but beautifully illustrated books I inherited from my Parents and Grandparents.
