This is the third painting in my 10 painting series "The Accident" about a car accident in which I was seriously injured. Each painting represents a moment in time. The moment represented by this painting is after my car had been first hit, sending it careening out of control on the freeway. I was screaming and screaming in real life. The repetition of the screaming heads and the exaggeration of the middle head mirrors my extreme emotions. The dark figure of "Fate" in the background has become much more ominous and intense. This painting is not framed. The edges are neatly painted and it is wired and ready to hang.
