About The Artwork
I have visited Florence, Italy six times, and recognize it as one of the most important art cities of the world. It is also one of the most beautiful. The painting depicts Florence's river with the famous medieval Ponte Vecchio bridge, which barely survived World War II. The best time to see this view is at dusk, and I arrived at just the right time. The lights, the colorful sky, the deep colors, and what this city represents are what inspired me.
