The Astronaut Painting

This painting was inspired by a sad tale I wrote when I was a child. It talks about a little boy with a big dream: one day he'll become an astronaut and he will reach the moon. However his parents don't want him to dream so much... That's why one day, by dint of swallowing his dreams, his head enlarge so much that it explodes. And that poor little boy, with his head stitched, is still looking for his eyes to watch the moon once again. It's the first painting I've ever done. I was inspired by tim burton's creepy creatures and I decided to paint him with a clown dress to make everything more gothic and expressionist. The original one is not for sale because of the affection I have for this little creature I created.
