The Beginning of the Youth Painting

I am a painter, born and raised in Finland. Currently, I live in Vantaa, which is located near the capital city of Finland, Helsinki. My inspiration comes from my own fantasy world, which is part of my daily reality. My artistic influences primarily come from the old Renaissance masters, post-impressionists, and some modern artists. They all share a skill for details, the use of deep and vibrant colors, and a sense of mystery. Enchanting human characters are the most visible part of my work. My subjects include fantasy themes as well as deeper emotions and my own memories. Through my paintings, I create more fairy tales and magic in the world. Vibrant colors come to life in my art. Faces with their nuances of light and shadow captivate me, allowing me to express my sense of beauty through the art of painting. I am a self-taught artist, who works with both oil and acrylic paints. Painting with oil paints is the most natural way for me to express my rich imagination. I feel that deep emotions, colors and my perception of beauty can best be expressed with oil paints. Details mean a lot to me, and I dedicate myself to refining them. I love large canvases and grand themes.
