Note on "The Circle Theory-the Project Sixes & Sixties #23: Perfect vs. imperfect: In 17th century and before, the universe was considered to orbit around our planet earth in a perfect circle, and the earth was created by God in a perfect state. After 17th century, scientists realized that the earth is not the center of the universe, and the tracks of revolving stars are not in a perfect circle rather an oval course. Thus, the idea of our planet earth being a perfect world was shattered. In fact, perfect and imperfect is relatively speaking, and our human being tend to idealize the world around us, especially in the early developing stage. A circle is an abstract symbol, which exemplifies the world around us and beyond, and which conveys our way of thinking in many aspects. The painting is signed and dated both front or back.
