The Dreamer (With Poem) Painting

Very rich and thick impasto oil painting of a place and surroundings I love very much: The arts hub in St.Kilda Road in Melbourne, Australia. You can see the arts center of Melbourne and National Gallery of Victoria. I was inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night painting which had eleven stars. Some believe these were linked to the thirty seventh chapter of Genesis in the bible. That's why I have included the special feature of 11 trees which are drawn in a bowing and surrendering posture to the exaggerated Arts Center spire (which appears taller than Eureka tower, which is much higher in the natural). This painting has a voice to empower the viewer to be a dreamer who realizes their dreams, takes the lead and is a trend setter, like a Joseph in Genesis who became a prime minister. The painting helps us become awakened to our special craft and artistry potential. (This I experienced personally so I am giving you something I truly have to give.) So, the painting is an actual declaration for the release of the creative which has been long been stymied. And it is not just in the arts, but in all areas of human endeavor. This is especially relevant where you may have been put in a box or felt boxed in whether by traditions or stereo-types. It's your autumn season in life; time to shed the old mindset like those leaves and arise and be true to who you are. This painting has a truly majestic presence when you see it on the wall.
