About The Artwork

Continuing the 2021 practice he is writing messages on the canvas, using indian ink and a dip pen. This time the message is "the giant kid on the dinosaur". The kid is actually a big head where on the upper part is written the message in greek and english. It has blue eyes and an open mouth, where we can see it's red tongue. Underneath we can see a blue dinosaur kneeling like a obedient dog, or even by the weight of the giant head kid. The dinosaur seems that is looking at the black figure on the right of the painting reaching to the sky. The narration and the forms of the painting invite the viewer to interprete the visual stimuli with many ways. The colors are mostly vibrant signyfying the clarity of a gigantic mind. Rationalism-formalism can also be imaginative and find stories after the painting is finished and why not multiple readings.

I consider art as a malfunction of the brain, a moment where you are aware, disoriented from your feelings space and time...everything looks the other way, doing what was supposed to and you stand there all alone, far away...away from your self customed cage. Art happens when you gaze at the view out of your thoughts and feelings that the bars of the cage blur and gradually melt under the blinding light of freedom.
