M. Davitaias Artistic value belongs to the two worlds of eastern European part of his childhood and Western European part of his Education. He was born and grown up in Tbilisi, in times of Soviet Union. In second Generation an artist, Davitaia took the best of his Georgian origin to West Europe where he started his academic studies in Paintings at the oldest and honored North European Art Academy of Nuremberg. After Graduating he finished also the Post Graduate Studies of Art in Public Space. The first Bridge to Western mentality was crossed. History changed and he returned home where he was a part of the succeeded Georgian fight for independence from Russia. Davitaia decided to input his gained Western know how in the service of his beloved homeland. Starting a political carrier as a Member of Parliament Davitaia became a State Minister in the Government of Michail Sakashvili. In these period he moved many ugly and old communist behaviors and situations of the Republic of Georgia foreword to modern democratically times. Being talented also as a moviemaker and after some small films, he produced in coproduction with Hollywood 2011 the movie 5 Days of War. During this he discovered and fold in love to California. The decision to make here Movies and last but not least Fine Arts followed. All this great diversity and the enormous gained experience are mirrored in his Paintings. We are looking here to a real lived live concentrated by a high leveled plastically intelligence, to Davitaia’s Artistically Work. This painting is a must to have painting! His Bridge expanded now from the extreme East of Europe, over West Europe to the extreme West of America.

Early Influences and Education Mirza Davitaia's artistic journey began in his childhood, surrounded by the creative ambiance of his father's art studio. At the age of ten, he embarked on a path of classical art education, attending an art school and later apprenticing with renowned artists. His formal education continued at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, where he honed his skills in various media, including sculpture and painting. This early exposure and training set the foundation for his artistic endeavors. Artistic Exploration Davitaia's artistic process is characterized by its consistent, daily nature. He is a versatile artist who works across various mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and collage. His creative inspiration is not bound by schedules or constraints; rather, it flows naturally and is expressed through his art. In 2000, Mirza Davitaia embarked on a unique artistic endeavor when he created a series of large-format paintings for the 'House of Fisheries,' a modern and functional administration building. Mirza Davitaia's artistic contribution, displayed in the entrance hall, added a distinctive touch to this significant architectural work." One of his notable series, the "Rain" series, was inspired by childhood memories spent at his grandmother's house in a Georgian village. These memories, connected to an old rug that held a special place in his family's history, provided the catalyst for this collection of works. The rug symbolized not only his grandmother's love but also the means by which he could pursue his artistic education. It was this rug that allowed him to attend the prestigious Academy of Fine Art in Nuremberg, Germany.
