The Green Room Painting

Kyle A Piat is a 36-year-old painter from and based, in London, England. Having always had a deep passion, connection and love of art, Kyle has been involved in art in one form or another for most of his life. He decided to take up painting seriously in 2011. Talking about his artwork Kyle explains: ‘‘I view painting for what it is, a visual medium, and as such, I wish to convey and express everything, such as, ideas, thoughts and feelings, purely visually. The only other guide being the title perhaps.. I want people to look and be absorbed in my images. To use their own minds to wander through the paths I have laid, whether intentionally, subconsciously or accidentally, and to find their own route. The way in which I paint and construct many of my images often allow for this. I want to create images that won't get old, images that people can look at for long periods and find something new. To feed, excite and challenge the brain. You can find out a lot about all sorts of thing by just looking, some things you see may be on purpose, some things won’t and often the experience can be different based on the individual person. You may connect on a personal level in a way I could never have intentionally done. So for these reasons I wish to keep myself, my personal feelings and thoughts detached from my art, so through doing this I feel that, you, the viewer, will be more free in your experience..’’ Thanks for Looking.
