THE HOLY SLAVE LABOR Painting

What inspired? It was the Brazilian historical and religious characters who are not what they seem. The piece is painted with oil paint and acrylic paint and glitter glue. I hope you realize that the figure on the screen is a fictional figure with more veracity than reality itself, one of the most important saints in the history of Brazil, even though she was created in a fictional way, she worked miracles for 300 years in the country in the form of slavery, and still it continues to work its miracles for the white population as it has really given it the opportunity to be the privileged majority in this country. The play is actually a discussion about the historical and religious characters in Brazil, often their stories do not say what they really are and placed on the level of importance that they often do not have, stories involving genocide and theft of wealth, it was not mentioned during school education in Brazil. This work discusses the historical characters that should not be seen as gods, but that their criminal or heroic acts are told in a true way without making up for the facts.
