About The Artwork

The painting is a participant of the international exhibition at the State Darwin Museum "Earth. Version 2021. What happened after that?". The exhibition and painting are dedicated to rethinking after the pandemic. The painting depicts a day when the last marsupial/Tasmanian wolf in the wild was killed by a man in 1930. Man has exterminated all the individuals of this species. The complete destruction of other species by hand or through the fault of man is happening more and more often. Maybe the earth decided to "reset itself" and began to implement in 2020 its terrible plan to destroy man? We have a lot to think about. The ends of the painting are painted in red-brick color – as a thin border of today's real-world and terrible consequences, which can be realized, as well as prevented, only by the person himself. The painting was created with acrylic paints, 2021. Linen canvas. Used canvas higher quality is durable. The painting is covered with an acrylic protective varnish. The painting is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity. Oil on linen canvas, canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher, ready to hang.

My name is Uliana Titova and I am a international professional artist in the fourth generation. I work full time. I draw my first painting when I was 5 and I did it on the wall of our house. Now I draw paintings in my own studio, where they occupy a whole room. I like to work with oil and acrylic paints, I draw paintings of different sizes in impressionism and realism styles. My Artist statement: «Brave people should have classy stuff». The main theme that excites me is the study of a woman. I speak in defense and support of women through my paintings. My inspiration is myself and women from all over the world - spectacular and bright, careerists and housewives, seductresses and travelers, young and mature. I transfer my thoughts to the canvas with the help of the knowledge I have got at the Moscow State Academy of Art and Industry named after V.I. Stroganov. Now I continue exploring new trends in the art market and master new techniques. I share my experience at my masterclasses and while teaching my students and friends. Some of my paintings were presented by Saatchi Art in their collections (and their technical specialist are now working on adding a badge for me). I have through my artistic journey exhibited widely both internationally and nationally. Art collectors from the USA, Poland, Germany, Greece are interested in my paintings. Thank you for your attention to my art. Happy viewing. Uliana
