The lips are mine Painting

The theme of this work is the lips, referring to Valentine's Day, it is a work that is expressive through our portrayed lips, inspired by the phrase "When eloquence, inspired by the heart of the soul, regurgits in gurgitates from the lips of a mistress, the triumph is certain." by Camilo Castelo Branco. So I started taking pictures of various shapes and angles of my lips, in which I chose one with my mouth open for the work to be more expressive. Then I looked for ideas to join the lips, from where I selected the painting "The lovers" by René Magritte, with the scope of the theme of the painting to be able to belong in relation to Valentine's Day, in which it gives a provocative air due to a fabric barrier to prevent the passion of the two lovers, in this way I associated with the current times as a result of the existence of covid-19 and that now a piece of fabric is with us everywhere. Regarding the background of the work I thought to bring together several retro televisions with a chaotic motive to connect to reality, since nowadays society watches drama-novels in their homes and it is the intention of the person to disconnect with the present world.
