About The Artwork

We arrive late into the evening As we drive around into the estate The places is lively Kids are jumping on the van Into our stuff As we are getting things into the property The removal man Touches me up Grabbing my genital area! I am shocked Did another "friendly" appeasement to get the situation to stop Finally, we got moved in What a start To a fresh start! Same old cooker We crack on with life It takes a while for me to break links with the old area But, we are finally in different times More industrial climes Another problem developed There was an incident of signing for my mail When the individual who delivered the mail Jams his foot in the door Looking back there was some kind of hatred/chat up/ I do not know But, I did not immediately link it to being formerly stalked I manage to get my mail Keeping that individual at bay! I do not continue creatively Despite the brilliant opportunity I had in front me In hindsight I can see I stupidly let something go That years later I wish I had kept! Right or wrong Legal or illegal My daughter was about to raise herself Not because I did not love her Or that I was that bad of Mother Though, I felt in total What I was trying to overcome in life Betrayed areas of my ability to Mother For things to improve I had to get back out to work, again Though, creatively I had a great opportunity I did not have the business sense, then To know how to upscale to a proper business, with staffing solutions Or neither did I understand the way how that could grow profit The best way forward I could see Was to change of direction I eventually took on more than one job Which was a sacrifice of time parenting, for money! Emotionally, I had not healed from being a wreck Still going head long into the mutual attraction of music dating attractions Racially dating Stuck for a while on dating men from the similar racial background as me Who were not particular interested in dating me, for that matter, or women, it would appear from the same racial background Again, in hindsight had I not been so focused on racially dating I may have been able to see others who had better opportunities of love to offer! Looking back on my life Through this collections I realise even more so How much I just was not able to be open, too! It was a large two bedroom flat The firs,t and only time I was housed as a parent I started out getting a job washing dishes Then went on to become a barmaid, and waitress to help make ends meet Working from early morning Till late at night To get off benefits Which for years before had humiliated me to have to claim Though, I was eternally grateful for the assistance One day I saw I way to break into the world of driving I took a leap of faith, and it paid off This meant I could eventually get paid much better money I borrowed everything I could To try, and tried to get ahead I did not envisage the jealous of my success It is not that I did not know it was possible Because life was not perfect I was not the best! But, I found my place I stuck at it Until, in 2006 it came time to down size from the two bedroom flat, back to a one bedroom flat Which was the beginning of what was to develop that Easter Weekend 2007!

Born in London. From kitchen table top, to connecting to the market place creating a hub of creativity. I have had the opportunity and privilege to live and experience many different area's in England and addresses in and around London, living in different social conditions, with a different set of challenges and joy's at each location. These experiences continue to be the biggest influence and inspiration for my work to date, inspiring imaginative impressions, which translate into expressions of fictional characters, and decorative designs. Whilst I did attend formal schooling, I did manage to achieve leaving secondary schooling without qualifications. Later gaining qualifications by investing in vocational training. I initially took up sketching to help me with clothes design, attending a local community college, it was a cheaper option as a young parent at the time. I come from a background of naturally creative people, where things like clothes were made without patterns, or any prior preparation for design. It was a time of instinctive survival, with a jump in and get it done way of living and thinking, learn on the go type of attitude toward life. Writing poetry plays the role of being my first point of creativity, it is a combination of free flow journal writing, "free flow" is a method of unblocking personal expression. Examples of this is the pen sketch and textile remnant journals, where poetry, meaningful sayings, and short messages meet. Expressing myself through writing journals, poetry, and even finding a way of writing threw creating an image, led me to explore painting as a further means of deeper self expression, exploration and release. What emerged is a spontaneous method of painting, composition admittedly is not a study in every piece initially, but emerges in the form of allowing a subject to develop in a space, in whatever form or position it takes. Coming from the era where Art was not seen as a proper job, taking that notion on - for a long time. I struggled to come terms with art as anything other than frivolity, despite being a creative. To understand my work further; The experience behind the creative process. Throughout my life as a child to present day I have been effected by the collection of behaviours known as Stalking. As a child and teen I witnessed others experiences.
