The path to self-discovery can be one with many twists and turns, smooth areas and rocky areas, & ups and downs. Sometimes we may falter or stray from our path. Other times we may not even know where our path lies. But, if we learn to listen for our guides and ancestors, they will guide back to and lead us along our path, through the dark of night and the light of the day. There are times we lose ourselves, our core essence, and our way, simply because we have learned to compromise ourselves to fit in with those around us. So often we lose the wonder we had as children, and we can no longer see the beauty that lies around us at any given moment in time. Often we must learn to rekindle that flame within ourselves, to look within, and to rediscover who we truly are. Even if there are times we must travel our path on our own, we are never truly alone because our ancestors are always there to guide us.
