About The Artwork
I'm obliged to Sophia for letting me create this painting of her. There's a thin line between chic and saucy, and I lengthened her dress a little to try to keep on the right side of that line. I also removed the London street scene around her from the painting, keeping the focus on the figure and the red postbox. The title is my wife's inspiration ;0) 19.5" x 39" (with 1.5" painted sides) Acrylic on box canvas, 2013, with thanks to London-based model Sophia Nooshin for the original source material
