About The Artwork
This was a fragment from a dream that left a deep impression on me. I found myself sitting on the end of a long wooden dock, with the moon on my left and the sun on my right, both casting their light on the sea before me. The clouds, hanging above the horizon, formed a breathtaking view. I struggled to decide which spectacle to focus on, when suddenly, the clouds began moving frantically before the moon, taking on the shape of a question mark. Before long, the clouds were swallowed up by the sea, only to be instantaneously spewed back out. The spectacle formed a portal, but instead of clouds, I saw streams of energy flowing from the portal in the sea up into the sky. It was an otherworldly sight that stuck with me even after I woke up. I was moved to capture the scene in a painting, though a movie could have done it greater justice. What happened on the other side of the portal remains a mystery to me. I was unable to explore it before my dream ended. This painting was exhibited at: The Europe House Zagreb, Croatia (Sept-Oct 2016)

Tui Sada is a Croatian artist living and working in Barcelona, Spain. His work is multidisciplinary and explores ideas of our modern landscape and environment as well as insights of artists expressions towards the beauty in the world. Art accompanied him since childhood. As a student he started working as a life model in drawing and painting classes. After a year of listening how to draw and paint he decided to try it himself. He is mostly inspired by painters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Pollock, William Turner and Caspar David Friedrich. He is a young Croatian artist who started painting with established academic painter Hrvoje Majer. With his instructions Tui Sada is continuously exploring the world of arts, mostly painting abstract paintings following his emotions and interests. He obtained a bachelors degree from University College of international relations and diplomacy Dag Hammarskjöld in Zagreb. He is looking forward to each new challenge, each new exhibition and commission.
