About The Artwork
A wonderful original piece I simply call "The Horse Farm". It is inspired by my new rural home and combines natural elements in an abstract composition. A blooming magnolia tree frames a scene with two gorgeous horses spending their days eating and lounging in the sunshine. A creek rushes by (you can almost hear it!) and wispy willows sway in the breeze. The simple wooden fence is made of actual pieces of wood, attached to the canvas, giving it a 3-D effect. I try to somehow capture not only the visuals, but the feelings and memories that are evoked by beautiful scenery all together.
