The Road to Home Painting

Greetings! I'm Tetyana, a Ukrainian-American artist living in the US. My adventure into art started during the COVID lockdown in 2020. It was a dream come true for me, a chance to finally dive into the art world I'd always been curious about. I began with acrylics, but soon found myself drawn to the rich textures of oil paints, bringing to life scenes of nature, architecture, and everything in between. At the end of 2023, I'd fallen in love with the lively world of watercolor, thanks to a formal training led by Nataliia Kupchyk Watercolor Art School. It's a medium that stole my heart, blending perfectly with my project management skills and an eye for detail, alongside a deep love for everything nature has to offer. With each piece I create, I see my art evolving, taking on new shapes and forms. My art is deeply influenced by the masterpieces of great past and present artists like Monet, Van Gogh, Redon,each piece I create is a step towards honing my craft, driven by admiration for their work. For me art is a bridge between my heritage and my present, a therapeutic practice that helps me navigate the emotional landscapes shaped by my connection to Ukraine. It’s a realm where my love for nature and dedication to detail converge, offering both solace and a sense of purpose. As I continue on this path, I am excited by the endless possibilities that watercolor offers and am committed to capturing the beauty of the world around us with each painting I make. As a self-taught artist, my journey is a testament to the power of belief in oneself and the transformative nature of art. Through my work, I would like to inspire others to discover their potential and be brave.
