VIEW IN MY ROOM
I would consider it one of the most beautiful civic buildings in our state. It was called the "grandest Spanish Colonial Revival structure ever built," by architect Willard Moore. The building was designed by William Mooser III. He studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris and was familiar with the Spanish style as he lived in Spain for many years. The Courthouse also serves as a Wedding Venue and a prime destination for visitors of Santa Barbara trying to get a view from its tower called “El Mirador.”
