I like my paintings to be abstract, loose, messy, moving and evolving , just like nature. The movement of the paint on canvas is reminiscent of nature in its most abstract form. In my work, I aim for the abstract element of the subject. I have always been fascinated by texture and the emotions they evoke within. painting for me, is a spontaneous process. It surprises me as I create, discovering layer after layer. For me its more about capturing the energy of the work. The longer you look, the more depth and layers emerge. "
