The Shadow In The Forest Of The Unconscious Painting

My background is in television and film. I graduated with a B.A. in SCMC, Studies in Cinema and Media Culture with a focus on media analysis, concentrating on the relationship between pop culture and politics. I began painting as a distraction from writing scripts when I would reach writer's block. People seemed to take a liking to my work, so I eventually put some work up on Etsy. Someone from Raw Artists (www.rawartists.org) asked me to be in a show back in January after seeing my watercolors. This was my first show, and I am looking forward to more shows to come.
