The Stirring Beneath Us Painting

This is considered a minimalist work as it is based on color field theory. In this case, the 2 fields are very active instead of passive. Created with a 14" paint base and striated while wet (upper part); The bottom was solid red with white paint poured into the wet red paint. The upper section was sprayed with inks while wet, which flowed and mixed in the paint. When the paint was dry, black pens were used to outline the white patterns on the bottom and adding "text" to the lines on top. The text is based on 3 ancient alphabets freely woven together and they were inscribed. One of the artist's favorites.
