About The Artwork
It is a view through a modern, large window onto the inner courtyard. The dominant feature of the painting is the tree and the sky shining through branches. The green leaves gently shimmer and harmonize with the lawn. The reflections of other buildings are reflected on the window glass. Everything is kept in navy blue, blue and noble greens. The painting is extremely elegant and spacious. It encourages reflection and tranquility, maybe even a moment of respite or meditation. Painting this work of art was a long process: one year of patient application of successive semitransparent layers of paint. It is very laborious and time-consuming technique: each subsequent layer of paint is applied on the already dried layer. But thanks to them the image has its depth and luminosity.
