“The Unites States of Apartheid.” The confederate flag is a symbol of slavery, racism and Apartheid that was not uncommon to that of South Africa during white rule. The iconic sambo...eating watermelon is symbolic of how some view blacks in America. 40 Acres and a Mule is symbolic of what the United States government offered freed slaves as a form of reparation following the end of slavery but was never received.

My target audience are collectors that can related to the particular subject matter the art expresses. My art is for the thinking men and women. I am inspired by social injustice, especially as it relates to American minorities. Inspired by both parents who were politically astute, my inspiration comes from their disgust over social injustice and conservative politics as it relates to race, social and economic injustice.
