About The Artwork
What inspired this work was the love of the way the tree looked after a warm rain. So I took a nice walk outside and just saw the most beautiful seen ever. Therefore I decided to recreate what I have seen. I want the viewers to see the beauty in the trees as they fall after a hard rain. I want the viewers to feel a nice warm feeling as they look at the painting, and imagine themself walking up that path. The Medium I used was acrylic and neon paint to make the effects really pop outside the picture. The Medium I used was acrylic paint because it is so easy to layer the paint so that I could create these beautiful leaves and it was easy for me to do the detail work when that paint drys fast.
