The Year Turning 1 was inspired by and developed from looking at the Cotinus plant in my garden change colour in response to the seasons changing. Stunning as this plant's leaves are all year round as the season move from late summer into early autumn this plant only becomes more glorious and eye catching as the leave increase in colour and it takes it's deserved place in centre stage. That is the time to paint plant like this!
