The anatomy of pain

Lately I was going around the idea that if pain would be possible to be painted how would it look like?

This thought was in my mind over and over trying to give it shape and color.

This piece also talks about how we can transmute pain and convert it into something beautiful.

Pain has millions of faces and layers.
It could be ancient, it could happened when you where a child, the terrible pain of been sick, loosing someone close to us or trying desperately to have eternal beauty … emotions that goes too deep into our souls that are so personal and unique it is really inexplicable.

But pain could be beautiful too.
It is through pain how we grow, how we learn what life is about, only facing it we can move forward.

I was not sure how to do it, so I decide to go back to my roots, and there I got the answer I was looking for.

In Italian Renaissance something extremely cruel and violent was showed as one of the most beautiful and remarkable works of art in human history, in Cranach work the panel showing the suicide of Lucretia after she was violated by Sextus Tarquinius, or courage of ancient Romans in intensely passionate struggle in the pancratiastis fights or simply the pain of been over weight over emotional and over worried.
