About The Artwork
When I saw ripe apples in my garden, I thought it was time to draw them. And suddenly I saw them illuminated by the sun. The rays of the sun lit up the apple tree and the leaves. Apples sparkled with colors and sunlight. Truly, sunlight inspires joy. My task is to convey this impression with paints. The painting is made with thick strokes of oil paints, textured on canvas panel

Vladimir Bogdanov was born in 1955. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Print Academy, faculty of graphics. From 1980 to 1991 he worked as a teacher in the Children Studio of Art. Since 1978 he joined more than 35 exhibitions in Russia and abroad. VIadimir Bogdanov's paintings are in private collections and galleries in Russia, USA, France, Italy, Greece, England, Portugal and Czech Republic. Now he lives and works in Prague.
