Ceruti maintains, (...) That is why its form acts as a hypnotizer when I find what is familiar, close to me. Sorry to fall into your attractive morphology. That when painting it, the rigor of its geometric shapes becomes more flexible and I extract another meaning from it. I put together a heritage to contain and make them visible on my canvases, because they are no longer inside a machinery or locked in a certain place, but they inhabit another space. I remove them from their usual context and this movement encourages a new aesthetic consideration of them, a different meaning. New thinking is enabled for those objects. The aura of mystery is moved to turn them into a potential artistic piece, an object to be studied, contemplated, analyzed. And that set of elements that a priori can cause disinterest, impel me to a search. As Duchamp says: The beauty of indifference. Objects chosen on the basis of absolute aesthetic indifference.
