About The Artwork
First time I saw this ancient Egyptian statue she seemed to me like a fashion model walking front of audience, she dazzled me with her graceful body and beauty that you can immediately recognize despite that the philosophy of the ancient Egyptian artist did not exaggerate in showing the beauty of the human body compared to the art in the Roman civilization, for example. I couldn't resist to paint her in full details which was challenging sometimes especially when I wanted to show the movement of her legs from underneath her full patterns clothe, I chose a simple background in order to force the eye to concentrate with her, then I put those drop down strips to reduce the space around her . Now try this, put your eyes on her face and you will find it full of trust, take your eyes up to her arm and you will feel like she is caring about the offer above her head, slide your eyes down to her feet and you will feel her intrepid steps towards her target and lastly look at her stretched down arm and you will feel her determination like she is holding a weapon not just a goose, enjoy it .
