ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This painting represents the passing of time. A wide open landscape seems to be permanent, but it is in fact constantly changing. The time passes at different speed for the land than for us, humans. The only thing that suggest movement, therefore change,on the painting are the clouds. The clouds have are in a liminal state: they are not air anymore, but neither water yet.
