Over the last few days, I've been building a wildlife pond which I've found is extremely therapeutic and my work has begun to take on a deeper meaning, a more contemplative, yet 'gritty' approach to working.
This piece is acrylic and pencil on canvas, ready to hang unframed.

Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Carol works from her cottage in the North Pennines in the UK. She produces both abstract and representational work, generally her paintings have an underlying sense of mystery and a mystical relationship with nature. They are often intuitive and soulful. Carol says: “After painting professionally for 33 years I still find it an extremely exciting and magical process. I try to get beyond ‘expressing’ myself, to allow a creative energy straight from nature and the cosmos. Happy and joyful, concentrating on uplifting the viewer and bringing a sense of joyful energy to everyday life.” PRIVATE COLLECTIONS: Uk, USA, Australia, France, Italy, Dubai and Israel.
