About The Artwork
"Toes Can't Touch", acrylic, mixed media painting on a deep stretched canvas. This is wired for immediate hanging. The painting measures 30" x 40" x 1 1/2" deep. This surface is tactile, with some areas having a collage surface to integrate with my composition. If you follow my work on Instagram or Facebook. I posted the process of working on this piece with the figurative piece titled "Red". Explaining that this is how my brain has always worked. I had what seemed like the tighter work #Red" beside it and would rotate between the two pieces, not missing a beat. The Palette of the two are identical, just that in "Toes Can't Touch" is broad. As I have mentioned on a number of my new pieces. This year has been an excellent one. I just delivered paintings to a company. Of which 12 were chosen for purchase. September 29, 2023 I have a one person show opening and will consist of approximately 30 pieces. October 6, 2023 I will be delivering another 35 pieces for a one person exhibition titles "Facets". During the remainder of 2023 I have been invited to 5 other invitationals which will hang 3 - 8 pieces each. And I am turning 70 in November. During the end of September, 21-29 I will be traveling on business and pleasure. During that one week period I will not be available to ship paintings.
