Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

In Irish mythology, Torc Triath was the King of Boars, an Otherworldly creature who belonged to the Goddess Brigid. He was hunted by King Arthur and his hound, Cabal, and driven into the sea off the Cornish coast, where he perished. It is believed he swam to Ireland instead, and took refuge with Goddess Brigid.
