About The Artwork
Painting on canvas done with acrylic paint and brush. First piece of a study about toucan, an animal that has always fascinated me because of its colors and shapes. I imagine this painting in a restaurant, above a table where a couple is dining, in the dim light of a small red lamp shade. Painted at night, I wanted to represent the night around the animal and lights, like flashes, glowing around him. I choose acrylic paint because of its colors and practicality since the paint dries quickly. Also painted on the sides, the painting has some thickness at various locations. Sold without frame, shipped in a tube.
