"Touch the Moon" was created during a personal art challenge I set for myself to practice and create art for 100 days.
The process for this piece was intending to use a minimal amount of color, which is a stretch for me because I looove color! I challenged myself to create a piece where the dominant color was black. And the outcome - something that I found so stunning that it inspired several pieces that came after it including "The Gentle Soul" and "What the Moon Revealed."

I have a deep fondness for this piece. It surprised me and showed me a new style and potential I had not yet seen in myself before. For the person who ends up owning this piece - you are getting a piece of my heart.
