"Tréfonds" a work made in acrylic and oil on a 3d square frame.
Blue aquatic or glacial shoals, cyclonic or totally imaginary lowlands.........
A tribute to nature, to our habitat, to our planet Earth, completely threatened by the excesses of our human species, Magda Hoibian pays tribute and tries to alert in her own way to the necessary ecology, paying tribute in her work to what is elementary: Water, air, earth and fire.... And what comes to life there..... An anthropocene work......
Nevertheless, this work leaves space for interpretation.
Movements, composition, blues and dominant circles present, Magda Hoibian's artistic signature is well present on this painting

I'm a feminist artist, an ecologist, and my painting is organic and driven by the importance of making us feel how essential the living elements of air, water, earth and its plants, and fire/light are to us. I consider this respect for the living to be a feminist position, and as a woman artist I feel extremely concerned both by the place of women and by how this world will evolve in the face of major climatic challenges, which are highly political. "I'm a dreamer in a difficult world. When I paint, when I'm alone and connected at the same time, it's a very powerful feeling." This dreamer side has a counterpart, that of revolt, present in me since childhood: Born a girl, I never agreed to keep quiet as I was asked, so I had to navigate a harsh society like most women. My painting contains all this and more, outbursts of anger, a word that refuses to accept imposed limits, a wonder at plants and the elements, a powerful desire for freedom above all, a freedom that demands respect, demands and takes me further and further along pictorial and poetic paths. My creations unfold through lines and curves drawn in a lively or slow amplitude. It is in this gesture, through this variable amplitude, that my sensibility and intuitions crystallize, to both define and illustrate the inspiration of a presence through an abstract expressionist form, and bear witness to an intuitive thought, a sublimation of my perception of life through a gesture that is both casual and necessary, giving shape to my emotions and sensitive perception of the world. Seized by the act of creation, I instinctively give shape to the pictorial material, eventually becoming one with it. My gestures are free and intuitive. My semi-abstract, organic painting, the convolutions formed on the canvas, the colors all participate in a universal language, that of pure sensation. It is through this process that the emotional dimension of my artistic work becomes perceptible as much in the contemplation of the surface as in the evocation or discourse that the work induces. The elements of the living world are the sensory common thread running through my work, and as a woman artist and shaman poet, I use words as well as visuals, sounds and relationships with plants, and links between humans and other living beings, to nourish creation, meaning and the poetics of life.
