"Tree In The Lake" Painting

My name is Zoltan Magyar a 43-years-old, Hungarian, self-taught landscape artist, living in London, United Kingdom.

My passion for painting beautiful landscapes must have come from my father. His artistic level of drawings and paintings inspired me to start drawing sketches of my own as a child from an early age. Throughout the years, he taught me how to capture every little detail of nature's beauty in a way that helps others to see the world's most spectacular landscapes with simple tools; graphite and acrylic paint.

Times have gone by and my passion slowly got left out of my everyday life. I always felt a need to get back to painting, even though I never had the chance to professionally study or practice art full time. After a while, I knew I was missing something: and so I realised that this is what I would love to do, this is what I have the most passion for; creating and painting nature's sophisticated and detailed landscapes for everyone.

I always loved my audience to sense the form of nature that I like to express in my paintings on a full scale: and for that I needed lots of research and hundreds-of-hours of practice. Slowly, my invested time and energy has started to pay off as I got great compliments on each piece of art I painted throughout the last few years and so I realized, I might continue what I love to do the most in this world: and that is landscape painting. I like to do activities outdoors, exploring new places, however I also work from reference photos to get inspiration for my next art project.

Unfortunately, due to my time and resource constraints, at first I had to seek and study professional advice online to develop my skills further. Although I already learnt a lot, I still have a long way to go to become a full time artist. I genuinely wish everyone could see and feel what I saw and felt when I painted my pieces of art and if so, my mission would be accomplished. And that is: the perfect balance of beauty and nature.
