About The Artwork

Inspired heavily by Shepard Fairey and Pink Floyd's "The Wall", this image uses the means of repetition or propaganda, to spread a message of distrust. The gas masks distort the faces, causing a hesitation to "obey" or "trust" what is communicated. The gas masks also represent a barrier between the viewer and the figures of a school master (top) and Adolf Hitler (bottom). SOLD
