"Tyrell's Corporation 2020" is a brand new piece of "Blade Runner" series started in 2003 and inspired by the film by the same title. I ended my journey with geometrical abstraction 10 years ago, after 2 years in Japan where I got interested in figurative painting; but this idea of invert version of old painting got in my head about 5 years ago and wouldn't go. In COVID quarantinee time I decided to plan less and go with the flow more, so here it is. Formal structure of my SF series (including "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" series) was inspired by concept of Unism by Polish painter Władysław Strzemiński (1893-1952). Painting was supposed to reflect random piece of space and time, suggesting to recipient that there is more of similar, but never the same, materia and energy beyond canvas. Structure of colour clusters varied depending on the story behind the piece's title. This particular piece is a light version of dark/night painting "Tyrell Corporation" from 2004. Object should not be framed or framed in ultra-thin and non-invasive frame, not to disturb idea uf Unism. Other pieces of the series: "Attack Ships On Fire" 2003, "Moments Lost In Time" 2004, "Tyrell's Corporation" 2004.

Most of the highly celebrated art is about discovering new or commenting on current pressing matters, but my art is about simple everyday willingness to live. I paint because this gives me purpose and joy – it’s like humming nice song for a hundredth time, even thou there were many covers before; preparing favorite drink for a friend and myself, to enjoy it again in a new glass perhaps; dressing up for no occasion, just to look and feel good; caressing a lover… I wish it was the same for recipients of my art – everyday pleasure in experiencing it. Like a book that you red many times, yet you still reach for it; dish that you always order in that place that is there forever... Repeatable, often classic topics; favorite color palette; small and big things that makes us want to live, even thou world can be such an ugly place. I want my art to make it better - even for a moment, even in a tiny way. I want it to remind myself and others that it's worth to try everyday...
