About The Artwork
This work was also inspired by my trip to South America, in particular in Peru where I was astounded by the wealth and scale of the impressive ancient Inca monuments, which made me feel that the entire country is an open-air museum. I have always been interested in these indigenous cultures' in-depth knowledge of the natural world and the profound respect they have for it, which led to this abstraction of the sacred nature of their vision of the cosmos.
